It is a really beautiful place. The down side is the staff I encountered was not very knowledgeable.
I'm a disabled Veteran and they tried to charge me for my Service Animal. I showed proper I.D. for my dog and the lady just had no idea what I was even talking about.
It is also very expensive, with many hidden costs!!
It was disappointing to find a great place of nature and have a bad experience due to falling in a tourist trap with an un-caring staff.

Lake Hemet campground has come a long way over the last 30 years. Check it out during the off season if you prefer a quieter experience. The swim area (water park) brings a new flavor to a lake that for so long had prohibited bodily contact. Trout fishing is always good, as long as you come prepared. It's always warm in the Summer, and cold in the Winter. Great for a quick overnight get away, or week long outing. Enjoy!
